MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Kodiak was founded as, and is, the sole provider of “true” contract compression services with a unique business model and proven strategy of success. Our leadership’s core strategy begins with a focus on investing in its people which, in turn, facilitates deep commitment and talent resulting in the best service for Kodiak’s customers.
Mickey McKee is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kodiak Gas Services, LLC. Prior to co-founding Kodiak in 2010, Mickey was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Engineering for CDM Resource Management, LLC. He also managed the Engineering and Supply Chain group, worked with vendors and OEM manufacturers, as well as managed the sales and marketing efforts of some of the highest growth areas at CDM, all the while building relationships with customers that contributed in excess of $4.5 million per month in gross revenue.
Prior to that, Mickey worked for two years in CDM’s Operations group researching and qualifying projects as well as installing that equipment all over Texas and Louisiana.
Travis Marrs was one of Kodiak’s first employees in 2010. Since that time, he has served in roles including Fleet/Sales Management and Operations. Currently, Travis is the Executive Vice President of Sales, Fleet Management, and Engineering since 2019. Prior to this joining Kodiak, Travis joined CDM Resource Management in their Fleet and Engineering Department, Operations, and Sales, as well as sales management roles at a PVP company.
Travis is married to Brittany and they have three children, Archer, Theo, and Piper.
One of Travis’ favorite things about working at Kodiak is he enjoys working with people he consider some of his closest friends.
Craig Collins started at Kodiak Gas Services in August of 2011. Since that time, Mr. Collins has held positions in nearly every department at Kodiak including: Controller and Regional Operations Manager. Prior to Kodiak, Mr. Collins worked as an attorney in Houston, Texas specializing in personal injury litigation on the plaintiff-side.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing from Baylor University (‘07). In addition, Mr. Collins holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, from South Texas College of Law (‘10) and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Ben Grigry comes with a vast array of experience in the compression industry spanning 20 years with companies like Hanover, Exterran, and CDM Resource Management, holding various positions including Operator, Area Operations Manager, and Regional Manager. He joined the Kodiak Gas Services team in 2014 as an Operations Manager and ultimately the Vice President of Operations in 2016.

Prior to the compression industry, Ben spent 10 years as a peace officer in Monahans, Texas. Ben is married with four children and three grandchildren.
Ewan Hamilton is the Chief Financial Officer of Kodiak Gas Services since 2016 and previously was the Financial Controller of the company since joining in 2012.
Prior to Kodiak, Ewan worked at Pattillo, Brown & Hill, LLP providing audit and advisory services to a variety of governmental entities.
Ewan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Baylor University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Jason Stewart is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Kodiak Gas Services since joining the company in 2016.
Prior to joining Kodiak, Jason held senior origination and underwriting roles at PNC Business Credit, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and CIT Energy. In addition, Jason spent time as CFO of Enerven Compression.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Having spent 12 years as Network & Operations Manager for one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation, Montgomery County in Texas, Keith brought a wide array of IT knowledge and experience to Kodiak when he joined the company in 2013. He is directly responsible for the planning and implementation of all IT services there and continues that role with Kodiak.
Keith is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he met his wife and together they have three children.
Jerry Bob McCollum
Jerry Bob McCollum, an oil & gas industry veteran of over 45 years is Kodiak’s Senior Advisor. Jerry Bob joined Kodiak Gas in 2013 as the Vice President of Operations with experience in the contract compression industry since the 1970s. In addition to owning his own compression company, Jerry Bob has worked for Halliburton, Hanover, and Exterran.
A self-proclaimed people person, Jerry Bob appreciates that Kodiak gives people the opportunity to grow and be respected for what they contribute to the success of the organization.
Jerry Bob is married to Carolyn and they have three children and six grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves to fish.
